Market leading free vent area for a pressure relief vent designed specifically for Synthetic Gas Fire Suppression Systems.
The SGV vent for use with systems utilising agents such as FM-200 and Novec.
These Synthetic Gas Fire Suppression Systems produce both negative and positive pressures during a system discharge. To overcome the potential of structural damage the SGV vent Blades operate in both directions with the built-in ability to adjust the pressure setting.
A control device holds the individual blades closed to allow room pressure integrity tests to be carried out effectively. It also enables universal installation with the ability to position the unit either vertically, horizontally or angled with the same performance.
Two standard models available, these are the SGV Models 0303 & 0505 with market leading free vent area (F.V.A) capacities.
The SGV has been designed to meet the needs of the Fire Industry regarding the pressure relief and post discharge venting of enclosures protected by gaseous suppression systems.
The vents cover the pressure management within the protected area during the period of discharge and retention of the agent-air mixture within the protected area for a period of time thereafter.
