Cleanrooms

Apreco Limited Cleanroom ImageApreco’s leading VARI-centric® range of Air Pressure Stabilisers is designed to maintain a sterile environment. Our range is utilised in the cleanrooms of pharmaceutical, healthcare and commercial companies for effective room differential pressure control.

All cleanroom areas should be either classified or non-classified. All classified areas should conform to an applicable standard. This standard is dependant upon geographic location and usage. Particulate levels for the two main world standards are listed below.

The patented balancing system enables our Air Pressure Stabilisers to be set to close tolerances. They accurately control the differential air pressures between adjacent rooms. As soon as the pressure differential drops below the required level, the stabiliser fully closes. These features complement constant flow venturi valves often used in cleanroom ventilation systems.

Apreco Air Pressure Stabilisers control differential pressure directly and airflow problems are immediately apparent when a failure in other parts of the system occur. In contrast, room pressures controlled through Building Management System (BMS) systems regulating supply and extract volumes are subject to the accurate interaction of a number of elements. Subsequently, component failure or drift is not generally immediately detectable when controlled by the BMS systems.

Air pressure stabilisers are available in a selection of sizes to suit different applications. Apreco can provide stabilisers suitable for inclusion in partitions and walls from 50-1000mm thick. Apreco’s Air Pressure Stabilisers are designed to include removable blades for ease of cleaning, adhering to good practice in cleanroom design and limiting potential for dust collection on surfaces and edges.
