Marine Vessels
Apreco has the expertise to provide bespoke solutions for pressure relief valves used on Marine Vessels for the Military / Defence Industry.
Typically applications for these valves are:-
- Installed in the ventilation ductwork transporting conditioned air from one compartment to another by virtue of pressure difference. The valves are designed to be positively tight at pressures below the set pressure.
- Fitted at key locations in the ductwork to release exhaust air from compartments such as galleys to atmosphere via an exhaust duct fan.
Due to the application of these valves they are individually subjected to rigorous manufacturing and test protocols which are independently witnessed by a third party like ABS, who specialise in Marine and Off Shore product inspections and validations.
